Russia is fur country. Until today, Russia is the world's largest fur market and one of the fastest-growing luxury markets, with focus on a pure extravagance. Especially for Russian women, wearing fur is nothing out of the ordinary and a fur coat is an absolute must-have that should be part of every Russian woman's wardrobe.
Since 1995 the international fur industry has had one meeting point in Russia: the MEXA MOSCOW. As the only established international trade fair, MEXA MOSCOW is an integral part in the calendar of the fur industry. In 2010, 85 exhibitors from 11 countries presented themselves at the Expocentre Fairgrounds and were more than content with the number of orders placed by the trade visitors. Rounding off the exciting trade fair activities are daily fashion shows and a designer competition for the promotion of young talents.
